Compunetix is looking for students pursuing Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering degrees. Bachelors, Masters, and PhD students are encouraged to apply. Applicants should have excellent grades and strong project or research experience. In addition to engineering, opportunities often exist for related areas such as marketing and technical writing, when an appropriate degree program is in progress.
At Compunetix, our interns typically work a full-time schedule with competitive pay. Positions are available year-round.
Examples of current and previous student opportunities at Compunetix:
Embedded Software Engineer
- Perform regression testing on existing and new hardware and software, and develop software for a real time operating system that translates between two different APIs.
Software Developer
- Develop various software applications including database development of end user applications and Windows development.
Software Test Engineer
- Perform integration and regression testing of software across multiple systems. Using both manual and automated test processes, assist in the development of software to further automate the testing process.
Junior Hardware Engineer
- Design of multiple microprocessor/DSP systems, digital design of programmable logic devices, verification of design performance, component evaluation and specifications and development of test software
Web Developer
- Design and implement a real-time web based user interface.
Technical Writer
- Research, write, and edit user guides.
- Develop online help for user interfaces, create interactive online documentation, and review existing documents for accuracy and usability.
Marketing Specialist
- Investigate, develop and create customer case studies.
- Research and develop outline for web conferencing best practices white paper, and develop customer-survey.
