 BASKETBALL INSTRUCTOR

 The Municipality of Murrysville is seeking candidates for the Boys’ Basketball and No Boys Allowed Basketball programs for children in grades 1-6.  Persons with a strong background in playing and teaching basketball are preferred. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, teaching basic basketball skills through drills, relays, games, and competitions, guiding youth volunteers, creating weekly lesson plans and communicating with students and families.

This is a seasonal position from June to August, 2016, twice weekly, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

DIRECTOR – SUMMER PLAYGROUND PROGRAM

The Municipality of Murrysville is seeking candidates for the position of Director for the Summer Playground Program in the Recreation Department. A college degree, current college student and or persons with a strong background in education or recreation is preferred. Salary rate is $12.55 per hour. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, planning and approving weekly crafts, activities, and games, training youth volunteers, tracking and ordering supplies, tracking registrations and payments, maintaining volunteer records, and other tasks as needed.

This is a seasonal position from June 1 to August 5, 2016, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

ASSISTANT COORDINATOR – SUMMER PLAYGROUND PROGRAM

 The Municipality of Murrysville is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Coordinator for the Recreation Department’s Summer Playground Program. A college degree, current college student and or persons with a strong background in education or recreation is preferred. Salary rate is $9.60 per hour. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assist with the planning of weekly crafts, activities, and games, assist with training youth volunteers, organize supplies, assist director in tracking registrations and payments, help director maintain volunteer records, and other tasks as needed.

This is a seasonal position from June 1 to August 5, 2016, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
