The Osgood Center for International Studies (www.osgoodcenter.org ) will again be offering a set of evening classes to enhance the summer study/internship experience of college students in Washington, D.C.
- It is an excellent way for students coming on their own to DC or even in a group to be able to take a course with their peers and earn credit while engaging in the summer activities that D.C. has to offer.
- These courses are for-credit, earning at least 2 hours of credit for 5 weeks of evening classes conveniently located in classrooms near Capitol Hill.
- Taught by distinguished experts in their field, including a former U.S. ambassador, the courses emphasize class discussion of the current topics of the day.
- These include international affairs, American politics and political campaigns, forensic psychology, and international human rights.
For students interested in receiving internship-related credit, there is even a seminar on experiential education. Classes start the week of June 7 and end five weeks later.
