Washington Wild Things and PA Rebellion Street Team
The Washington Wild Things and PA Rebellion Street Team is a
seasonal internship that serves to promote the Wild Things and Rebellion
through various marketing and sales initiatives. Primary responsibilities
include implement various marketing strategies at home games and events in the
tri-state region, in addition to playing a vital role within the sales and
marketing department. Street Team members must be upbeat, outgoing individuals
with the ability to interact with all types of people. This position will
familiarize members with the inner workings of professional sports.
Responsibilities:
·
Provide a high level of customer service to
fans and sponsors.
·
Work with adults and children to ensure a fun
and safe experience.
·
Ensure proper implementation of all Wild
Things and Rebellion events and game day elements.
·
Assist with planning and preparation of all
promotional activities.
·
Work with management on various objectives
throughout the season.
·
Assist with lead generation for sales
department.
·
Work alongside the public relations and
social media manager on various community initiatives.
Qualifications:
·
Candidates must have great communication with
interpersonal skills, along with a positive and energetic personality.
·
The ability to learn quickly and work well
under pressure is essential.
·
Candidates must be reliable, punctual and
courteous.
·
Must have the ability to work as part of a
team, as well as the ability to carry their individual responsibilities.
·
Must have a flexible schedule for nights,
weekends and holidays during the summer months.
·
Candidates must have the ability to work with
children and adults and feel comfortable.
·
Must have reliable transportation to and from
the ballpark.
·
Must be able to work on their feet for the
game’s duration, especially during the summer heat.
·
Must have the ability and desire to be
creative and fun-loving!
Other:
·
Current college student enrolled in an
accredited institution. Does not have to be taken for college credit.
·
Degrees that focus on Sports Management,
Communication, Marketing, Advertising and Business are a plus.
·
Internship/Work Experience in professional or
collegiate experience preferred.
·
Customer Service or Sales Experience
preferred.
