Reminders for PSNK GREAT Students

REMINDER to PSNK Engnineering students:  Please REPLY NOW to attend the GREAT-Engineer session tomorrow afternoon (if you have not done so already).  We need to know if you are coming so we will have enough pizza and handouts.

TOMORROW, March 19 – Session on “Professional Personality: Achievement through Attitude and Ability”

March 31 – Professional Etiquette Dinner

Four course dinner & presentation hosted by: SGA and Career Services
Sponsored by: AVI Food Service

Time: 6:00 – 8:00 PM

April 9 – WESTINGHOUSE site tour ** NEW DATE **
                                    Time: Leaving campus at 1:00, Returning by 5:30
                                    Space is limited! 
                                    *Talk to your faculty instructors  and supervisors now if you need to miss class or work.

 

April 14  – PSNK Career Day and Research Fair

Times: 12:15-3:00 PM

Location: Athletic Center

 

Reminder: GREAT events and sessions are open to all engineering, IST and EMET students, so feel free to bring friends.

                       

Additional activities as part of the GREAT Seminars include:

-          Resume writing and interview skill practice
-          Projects with the Engineering Club, the Electro-Optics Center, and local robotics competitions
-          Site visits to our employer partner companies. These will be announced as they are arranged.
-          Attendance at career fairs and events on and off campus.
 

Remember – you earn a GREAT Participation Certificate and a portfolio when you complete 3 of the 4 seminars, attend the 2 required on-campus events and three additional optional activities!  

(NOTE: Fall 2014 GREAT Program students must attend the sessions and the site visits.)
