If so, join our Two-Generational approach to end poverty in our community!
In the Parnassus and downtown area of New Kensington 318 children (70.5% of all children) are living in poverty. Even worse, 83% of children under 5 in those neighborhoods live in poverty.
As their parents attend our Getting Ahead class which empowers them to escape poverty, we provide high-quality learning experiences for their children. Use your skills to assist in providing those quality learning experiences.
We currently have 6 positions available for teachers and aides in the Parnassus neighborhood of New Kensington.
2 positions- Monday mornings for 16 weeks starting in mid-September
4 positions- three Monday evenings /month (includes dinner!) Starts 09/08
All positions pay $25.00 stipend per session
Applicants must have or be able to obtain clearances- we pay the cost of new clearances!
