TITLE:                                      BRIDGES/M3 COORDINATOR
 
CLASSIFICATION:                                NON-EXEMPT, FULL‑TIME, REGULAR
 
REPORTS TO:                          DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY SUPPORTS
 
SALARY RANGE:                                   $17.69/HR
 
 
 

POSITION SUMMARY

The Bridges/Mothers Making More (M3) Coordinator is the key facilitator of a community-based programming to alleviate poverty among the counties low income citizens and single working mothers with children under the age of 18. The Bridges/M3 Coordinator primary role is to engage the community in the Bridges Out of Poverty method of moving individuals and communities out of poverty and facilitate the M3 program working with working single mothers with children under 18.  The Bridges/M3 Coordinator will take responsibility along with community partners in the training and facilitating of Bridges Out of Poverty trainings, Getting Ahead trainings, Economic Stability classes and Poverty Simulations to continue growing the initiative and all of its components.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

 
  1. Engage the community in the Bridges and M3 constructs.
  2. Collaborate to securing grant funding for Bridges and M3 initiatives.
  3. Collaborate with M3 partners to ensure adequate resources within partnering confines.
  4. Collaborate with the local Bridges steering committee in each community.
  5. Supervise the Community Connectors in each community and M3 casemanager .
  6. Network with appropriate community sectors to facilitate Bridges Out of Poverty, Getting Ahead and Poverty Simulation training in each community.
  7. Schedule, organize and present orientation sessions to new community supporters and funding sources.
  8. Facilitate M3 Economic Stability Classes.
  9. Maintain involvement with M3 participants, employers, colleges to ensure the success of M3 participants.
  10. Obtaining all necessary information required to enter into the funders and agency data base.
  11. Keep accurate records in all phases of the programs.
  12. Prepare all reports as necessary for both agency reporting and funder reporting.
  13. Any and all other job related duties as assigned by the Director of Community Supports.
 
 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR SKILLS

 
1.                  Four –year degree in marketing, public relations or human service field.
 
2.                  Minimum of two (2) year experience in public speaking and presentation or community organizing.
 
3.                  Experience working with low-income families, corporations, colleges and community services.
4.                  Computer competent.
 
5.                  Valid PA driver’s license and automobile insurance as mandated by the Agency.
