IT Employment Opportunities with PA State Civil Service
I'm writing you today with information about employment opportunities within the Commonwealth of PA for Information Technology professionals. We’re currently recruiting for Applications Developers 2, which requires one year as an Applications Developer 1 or Computer Programmer 3; OR 2 years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate’s degree in any information technology field; OR 4 years of information technology experience that includes 2 years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance; OR a bachelor's degree in any information technology field. Please note that students who have a minimum of 90 credits completed, and are within 7 months of graduating with a bachelor’s degree in any information technology field will qualify!!
Over 90% of the positions are located in Dauphin County. The remaining positions are located throughout the Commonwealth.
Lists created by these tests will be used to fill future vacancies as they occur due to retirements, promotions, transfers, resignations and so forth.
