MLP Steel is the nationwide leader in heavy-duty grating fabrication and
cold drawn steel wire, rod, bar and special shape products. We are
searching for reliable individuals who are motivated team players.
Applicants must have a strong desire to learn and accept additional
responsibilities that may be offered. MLP currently services most markets
and we are looking to evaluate new and emerging markets as well as review
our existing traditional markets served.
The marketing intern will analyze their current market positioning and
provide a comprehensive report at the conclusion of the session. The role
involves: Assessing current and potential market size; Identifying key
players; Identifying opportunities for growth and possible barriers to
entry; and Assessing where the organization fits within the sector
Thinking outside of the box and developing a marketing plan that will open
new markets for the organization and determine the best route to take.
This is not a sales position, the chosen candidate will possess the skills
needed to develop detailed marketing plans.
