Kongsberg Protech Systems USA, located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, is part of Kongsberg Gruppen (KONGSBERG), an international knowledge-based group that supplies high-technology systems and solutions to customers engaged in oil and gas production, the merchant marine, and the defense and aerospace industries. Kongsberg Protech Systems USA performs final assembly and testing of remote weapon stations and the repair and overhaul of remote weapon stations that come back from field operations. We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our team for the following position.

#K0269 Production Planner – Establishes and reviews material requirements to ensure production schedule meets customer deliveries. Daily interface with Purchasing and Master Scheduler. Monitors material inventory, tracking purchase order delivery dates, and reviews factors that affect schedules. Prepares material shortage reports weekly. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field; and/or two to four years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 2 years of production planning or scheduling experience required. APICS certification preferred. Knowledge of MRP, Engineering Change Orders, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, required. Prior experience in a supply chain manufacturing environment preferred. Position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
