Our client, a leader in their industry, is actively seeking a Tier 1 Support Technician for a contract-to-hire opportunity.
***This is with our direct client IntraSystems. Please note that this opportunity is a contract-to-hire position so the individual will have to work for A.C. Coy during the contract period at their location. The location is Ford City, Pa.
Responsibilities:
- Provide front-line primary (phone and email) technical support to end users on various technical issues.
- Respond to, document and resolve support tickets in a timely manner according to defined SLA and OLA.
- Provide exceptional customer services via phone and email as appropriate
- Resolve IT Operations issues including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Perform user administration duties
- Ability to apply standard troubleshooting theory
- Absorb and retain technical information when it is presented systematically
- Reject unethical shortcuts and demonstrate honesty in behavior and actions
- Manage assigned daily tasks and incidents with direct oversight
- Develops an effective working relationship with supervisor and team members
- Perform root cause analysis, develop checklists for typical problems, and recommend procedures and controls.
Qualifications:
- Must have a desire and drive to learn IT
- Resolving typical Help Desk issues
- Some building of PC's and Software Rollout- (would provide training here)
- Any exposure to Citrix would be a plus
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Ability to work independently or cooperatively as a team member
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required and previous IT experience OR
- Associate Degree or certificate of course completion in a technical field
