Job Description:
SOMNI Service Technician
The Anesthesia Technician provides both service and anesthesia equipment into the veterinary and research marketplace. This position works collaboratively with customers to identify applications and provide anesthesia solutions.
Job duties:
Inspection of the vaporizer including output test of vaporizer using a Riken Portable Gas Analyzer
Inspection of the carrier gas system (O2, Air, N2O, etc.), including flow meters, flow control, seals, regulators, quick disconnects and hoses
Inspection of the fresh gas delivery system (rebreathing system, non-rebreathing system, induction chamber, etc.)
Inspection of the waste anesthetic gas management system(s)
Provide a detailed report for each system
Present and demo equipment
Provide customer support through sales and technical experience
Ability to travel and grow territory
Job Experience:
Veterinarian technician or anesthesia background preferred
Demonstrated sales or service history
