                          Allegheny County to Host April 13

                                          Virtual Career Fair

Full-Time, Part-Time, Seasonal Positions and Internships Available

Allegheny County will be hosting a virtual career fair on Wednesday, April 13, with two sessions: 11 AM to 1 PM and 5 PM to 7 PM. Job seekers can register beginning today through the day of the event. The online platform is mobile friendly and will allow participants to join from a computer, tablet or mobile device. No software is needed – only internet access.


“We saw during the pandemic just how important county services were to residents. Each and every day, county operations have an impact on someone’s life,” said County Executive Rich Fitzgerald. “There are opportunities available in departments across the county with competitive pay and good benefits. These aren’t just jobs, but the start of a career. Come and join us.”


Job seekers can explore a range of jobs including full-time, part-time, seasonal positions and internships. Participants will be able to virtually visit booths and learn about open opportunities. They will also have the opportunity to chat with county representatives and participate in one-on-one video interviews. Human Resources representatives will also host two live webinars to talk about county benefits. The first will be held at noon on April 13, with the second scheduled for 6 PM.


A total of 19 virtual booths, featuring information on more than 60 positions will be available, including:

The event will remain open 24/7 for 30 days after the fair; however, no live staff will be in attendance after the April 13 events. Job seekers can revisit the fair for access to information, including benefit details and open opportunities.
