Job Titles: Senior Center Services Director 1
Employment Opportunity: The Armstrong County Area Agency on Aging is currently recruiting to fill one vacancy for Senior Center Services Director located in Kittanning, PA.
Applications will be accepted from August 17, 2015 to August 28, 2015.
Nature of Work: You will supervise managers and staff, and handle related personnel issues. You will plan, organize, and implement center-related services, including the Home Delivered Meal and PrimeTime Health Programs. You will monitor food contracts. You will assess community needs for services and activities. You will assist center managers in making arrangements of community-based programs. You will prepare program data reports, and maintain accurate records and documentation. You will serve as a county liaison/senior advocate; promote center public relations; and maintain contact with social service agencies, civic organizations, and local industry and businesses.
Minimum Requirements: Applicants must possess three years of experience in a food service, social service, or recreation program, including one year in an administrative, supervisory, or consultative capacity; OR one year as a Senior Center Manager (Commonwealth Job Title). College or business school training may be substituted on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of two years for the general experience. Any equivalent combination of experience and training is also acceptable to qualify for Senior Center Services Director 1.
Pennsylvania residency is required for this job title.

Starting Salary: $22,768.20/annually
