Our Business Development Group has a tremendous
opportunity for a Graphics Designer with a unique Marketing and Advertising
skillset. We are looking for the best and brightest candidate with a proven
background who is interested in taking KTA’s marketing presence to the next
level.
This is a challenging position, requiring
proficiency in multiple areas. The candidate we choose will be responsible for
the creation of all corporate and department specific marketing including:
print advertising, online advertising, conference and tradeshow graphics,
direct mail advertising, email advertising and the creation of sales and
marketing materials including brochures and flyers.
You'll know when are successful when
within 12 month you have:
- Created
ads for social media and related efforts.
- Designed,
prepared, and gotten monthly advertisements approved and submitted.
- Worked
with the appropriate departments support marketing and advertising plans.
- Conceptualized
ad designs and submitted to departments for review and approval.
- Built and maintained relationships with
publications for purchase of advertising and submittal of editorials and
press releases.

Maintained list of industry specific media sources including: buyer
guides, service directories, e-newsletters, and print magazines. Tracked
editorial calendars, maintain current contact info and evaluate and facilitate
participation based on marketing plans.
- Developed conceptual
drafts of new brochures and exhibition graphics as needed.

Work with the SEO Manager to develop the annual marketing
and advertising program and associated budget under the direction of the SEO
Manager.
- Under the direction of the SEO
Manager, provide an annual calendar of all proposed marketing and
advertising activities by November 1 of the preceding year.
- Periodically met with Group Managers
to assess needs and verify program direction.
- Worked
with KTA Tradeshow coordinator to define the needs for tradeshow and
conference materials.
- Design
and order tradeshow graphics and POS materials.
- Participated
in ROI evaluations of marketing efforts.
- Met advertisement deadlines
- Maintained organizational structure
for graphics and ads
The candidate will also be responsible for
carrying out of any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
The Graphics Designer does not directly oversee
any other positions and will report to the SEO Manager. Internally, the
Graphics Designer is in regular contact with the Business Development staff,
executive management, and departmental managers.
The incumbent’s decision making authority is
limited to assisting their supervisor with marketing and advertising purchase
in accordance with the established budget. This position may be responsible for
meeting the demands of the executive management of the company with regard to
administrative, marketing, and unscheduled needs.
This
position is open to all candidates who meet the following requirements:
Education
and Experience:
- Associates
or Bachelor Degree in Graphic Design, Graphics Communications, Visual Design,
Arts, or Graphics Art, Multimedia, or related field - Required
- 3-5
years’ experience with developing advertising - Preferred
- Experience
developing, budgeting and implementing traditional and non-traditional
marketing plans - Preferred
Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:
- Proficiency
in all Microsoft Office applications - Required
- Excellent
skills in Adobe Photoshop & InDesign - Required
- Proficiency
in Adobe Illustrator and knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
- Knowledge of company policies and KTA’s
Quality Management System (QMS) is essential
- Strong
written/oral communications
