Assist participants in accessing the program’s network of resources to help them overcome barriers which would otherwise prevent them from completing their college education and strive towards self-sufficiency. Coach them through application, loan processing, financial and personal management and use of referral services. Compassion for working with individuals who are sometimes going through difficult transitions and working with them in a positive way is necessary for this job. Effective communication skills are crucial, as the case manager also serves as an advocate for participants. Full benefits after 90 days.
Associated degree in social work/human services & 2 year case management experience, but Bachelors in the same preferred along w/experience.
