The Pennsylvania State Civil Service Commission is providing the following information regarding employment opportunities available with the Commonwealth. While there are hundreds of job titles available for application every day, and these can always be viewed through the “Job Seekers” section of our website, they would like to highlight a few that may be of special interest to students. Water Pollution Biologist 1 – Closing July 12, 2014 (Bachelor’s degree with a major in a biological science, including or supplemented by a minimum of six credits in the fields of aquatic biology, aquatic ecology, or water pollution biology or a bachelor’s degree with a major in a natural science including or supplemented by nine credits in the fields of aquatic biology, aquatic ecology, or water pollution biology. As a reminder, bachelor degree students who are within seven months of graduation and have completed at least 90 credits, and associate degree students who are within seven months of graduation and have completed at least 45 credits, may begin the application and testing process prior to graduation.
