Summer Work Program

The Private Industry Council of Westmoreland/Fayette, Inc. (PIC) is pleased to announce it will be operating the Summer Work Program in 2014. PIC has a long history of providing local youth with employment opportunities in Westmoreland and Fayette counties.

The Summer Work Program is currently recruiting over 100 youth for summer employment positions. Eligible youth are between the ages of 16-21, reside in either Fayette or Westmoreland counties and meet income requirements. Youth typically work in non-profits, county agencies or government offices. Job responsibilities can include clerical, maintenance and IT work.

We are currently accepting applications for the program which can be found on our website at www.privateindustrycouncil.com. The Summer Work Program is a great opportunity for youth to build their resume, develop job skill and earn money.
