Job Description:
WTAE-TV, the Hearst television-owned and ABC affiliate station in Pittsburgh, PA has an immediate opening for a creative, energetic and tech-savvy News Photographer/Editor.
Job Responsibilities:
• Shooting and editing of vo's, vo-sots and packages for broadcast and On-line including posting videos, photos and stories to the web.
• Safe and Efficient operation of ENG and D-SNG trucks.
• Working with the Assignment Desk and Reporters to cover daily stories.
• Occasionally running the Satellite Feed Center.

Experience Requirements:
• At least one to two years of experience in a television newsroom.
• Must have computer and software experience.
• Non-linear editing experience.
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere preferred.
• Must be a strong storyteller and an independent problem-solver.
Qualifications Requirements:
• Carry 30 pounds of equipment plus a 5-7 pound waistband and a 10-12 pound tripod.
• Ability to work any shift – including evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Drive news vehicles and ENG/D-SNG trucks.
• Candidates must have a Valid Driver's License.
• Vehicle Record check required.
Education:
• Bachelor or Associate Degree in photography, journalism or related field.
• Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
