Engineering and Technician positions at Philips

A local medical device company in the local area is looking for new talent. See below for positions available.


V & V Technician
Responsibilities:
·         Development of comprehensive test procedures based on product and software requirements
·         Formal execution of the test procedures and generation of test reports
·         Defect tracking and verification of fixes
·         Requirements traceability to test cases
·         Work with automated test tools and create test scripts, if required

Requirements:
·         Practical knowledge of software testing methodology
Minimum of associates degree in electronics or equivalent
·         2-4 years of applicable experience
·         Experience in software testing and quality assurance preferred
·         Experience in medical software testing, highly preferred
·         1+ years of experience exercising  test plans, scripts, and scenarios provided by engineers
General understanding of electrical schematics
LabVIEW knowledge is a plus
Strong teaming and communication skills is a plus
Independent thinkers


Software V & V Engineer
Responsibilities:

Embedded Software Engineer
We are in need of an Embedded Software Engineer to be responsible for the conceptual design and implementation of real time embedded software. This person will need to have experience in developing software requirements, design documents, software implementation and testing, and experience with different Microprocessors. Additional details are as follows:

Requirements:
·         BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related
·         5-10 years applicable experience
·         Experience with embedded software development and in-depth understanding of low level interfacing, system testing and debugging
·         Proficient in C/C++ and Assembly languages
·         Strong working knowledge of structured design, embedded real-time systems and hardware/software interfacing
·         Demonstrated project leadership experience
·         Able to formulate creative solutions to difficult problems
·         Ability to concurrently handle multiple tasks
·         Ability to work individually and in a team environment
·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills
