Job Responsibilities

Service Technician
o
Equipment Remanufacturing and Repair
§
Required
to follow and document detailed histology equipment Standard Operating
Procedures (SOP’s)
§
Responsible
for evaluating and managing SOP’s
§
Must
trouble shoot and repair various histology equipment including:
§
Equipment
systems analysis
§
Electrical
§
Mechanical
§
Pneumatic
§
Aesthetic
equipment repairs
§
Cleaning
§
Painting
§
Detailing
o
Research
§
Assisting
warehouse manager in finding and managing parts and vendors
§
New
product analysis: Technical research and functional evaluation of potential new
products.
§
Key
knowledge: Keeping updated on industry
trends and new equipment models

Installer/Field
Technician
o Installation
of laboratory equipment on site with customers
o On site
customer training
o On site
diagnostics and repairs

Customer
Service
o Assisting
clients with technical service information. (In-house phone/skype support)
o Assisting
in sales of service and preventative maintenance contracts
o Supporting
the sales team in a technical capacity

Hiring Requirements
·
A Biomedical
Engineering Technician certification is preferred
·
Experience with the
dismantling and rebuilding of mechanical systems
·
Strong electrical
aptitude
·
Strong computer
skills, coding ability a plus
·
Good customer communication skills
