ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Provide administrative support for the HR department
- Assist with the creation of unemployment files and unemployment filing including claims processing
- Manage the Recruitment Hotline & Jobs@pittohio Inbox
- Conduct exit interviews; maintain and review exit interview tracking spreadsheet
- Conduct recruiting calls
- Use Applicant Tracking System to send emails to potential applicants
- Assist with virtual hiring events
- Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
OTHER DUTIES
- Full Cycle benefit onboarding
- Benefit filing support as needed
- Provide scanning and filing support for the Document Manager Project
- Conduct employee reference checks
- Assist with Performance Review Tracking
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be an active undergraduate student majoring in Human Resources or a related field
- Minimum QPA of at least 3.0
- Junior or Senior undergraduate student preferred but not required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work, Excel)
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail is a must
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must possess basic analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to view problems as challenges to be positively addressed and solved
- Must possess the willingness to be mentored by experienced professionals to execute job responsibilities
- Maintain exceptional degree of discretion regarding confidential information
- Must be able to work independently and function as part of a team
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with all levels of internal and external customers
- Must be able to demonstrate creativity
- Ability to remain flexible/adaptable and excel in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
