INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Environmental Education Internship and Sustainability Project Opportunities

Are you interested in helping people connect to the wonders of nature and parks?

The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy is seeking enthusiastic people who want to learn about environmental education while assisting in our K-12 outdoor education programs at the Frick Environmental Center. Working with students from over 20 different schools across Pittsburgh’s neighborhoods, we connect kids to nature in Frick Park and other green spaces. Join our team and help youth develop a love of nature, grow their curiosity, and learn science concepts. If you are interested, you can get involved in independent sustainability projects.

Interns serve alongside our team of naturalist educators. We value a holistic approach to learning and provide opportunities for interns to have real world teaching experience. We value the background and experience of all people and strive to be diverse and inclusive in who we serve and who we hire.
