Description/Job Summary

PITT OHIO, a $500 million, high service, highly profitable, transportation solutions provider offering SUPPLY CHAIN, GROUND, LTL and TRUCKLOAD services is seeking a Sustainability Summer Intern. This internship position is located at our corporate headquarters in the Strip District area of Pittsburgh, PA.
Responsibilities:

• Work with various departments to retrieve invoices for waste, inputting that data into a spreadsheet, and then creating waste metric totals for each terminal to see if the terminals are improving their recycling
• Research our internal policies and procedures to update our Sustainable Pittsburgh Business Compact
• Develop some tweets and facebook updates on our sustainability initiatives 

Qualifications:

• Must be majoring in one of the following areas: Sustainability or Business
• GPA 3.5 or higher
• Experienced, advanced Excel skills
• Experience with sustainability concepts
• Fluent English language skills required to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently
