I am looking for several students who may have some time in their schedule for an internship/co-op with Curtiss-Wright in Cheswick.
We are looking for Engineering students and the
Electro-Mechanical Engineers may be a fit for several of our opportunities
Students...
1) must be available for FT - Monday-Friday 40
hours/week. Starting January 4th. Will consider at student who can work
35+ hours but preference will be given to those who can work full-time.
2) Due to the nature of our business, must be a US
Citizen (sole US Citizen, no dual citizenship)
3) Must have reliable transportation
4) Minimum 3.0 - preference will be given to higher GPAs

Position 1 - located in our Cheswick
location.
Quality Assurance - Maintain/Distribute certification review
statistics. Reject rate, reject rate time to closure, process completion time,
in que time, employee workload curve, employee output. Determine
certification review process flow efficiencies and feed to management team.
Position 2 - located in our Cheswick
location.
Quality Assurance - Sharepoint workflow development, Assist with
development of single electronic storage location rules. Participate in
existing training identification. Work with subject matter experts to update
existing training documents which are outdated.
Position 3 - located in our Cheswick
location
Help with Lean Manufacturing Initiatives. Kaizen support, exposure
to lean tools (Kaizen, 5s, Value stream mapping a plus.
