Kongsberg Protech Systems USA, located in Johnstown,
Pennsylvania, is part of Kongsberg Gruppen (KONGSBERG), an international
knowledge-based group that supplies high-technology systems and solutions to
customers engaged in oil and gas production, the merchant marine, and the
defense and aerospace industries. Kongsberg Protech Systems USA performs final
assembly, testing, and warehousing of Remote Weapon Stations. The company also performs repair and overhaul
of remote weapon stations that come back from field operations. We are currently seeking several qualified
individuals to join our team for the following positions:
Electro
Mechanical Assemblers
Will
perform Electro Mechanical Assembly and/or Mechanical Assembly operations for
Remote Weapon Stations.

Electro-mechanical
and/or Mechanical aptitude and experience required
-
Experience
using basic hand tools, test equipment and measuring devices required.

Experience
using pneumatic calibrated hand tools preferred.
-
Basic
experience in using a computer required.
-
Experience
in working in a production environment preferred.
-
Associate
Degree or Certificate in a technical field preferred.
-
IPC-620
Technician Certification preferred.
-
J-STD-001
Certification (Soldering) preferred.

Experience
working with written work instructions or standards preferred.
