Academy, a residential school for court-adjudicated youth, is seeking
internship candidates for our Inpatient Drug & Alcohol Program. Our
Inpatient Drug & Alcohol Program provides a holistic approach to
rehabilitation and recovery.
Job/Internship
Description: This internship will provide first hand experience in the
day to day functions of an Inpatient Drug & Alcohol Program, from a
client’s admission to discharge. Responsibilities will include writing
treatment planning, observing group and individual counseling sessions, in
addition to some clerical duties.
Requirements: Internship
candidates must be working towards their degree in Psychology, Sociology,
Criminal Justice, Education, or a related field. Hours will be based on each
student’s individual classroom requirements. Internship opportunities are
offered throughout the calendar year.
