Mechanical Technician

Hi-tech manufacturer with plant in Saxonburg requires two people with mechanical aptitudes/backgrounds to assist in updating parts information.
Position
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing engineering drawing and specifications of parts.
- Updating the descriptions of the parts.
- Entering new engineering notes into new specification sheets.
The work schedule for this position is 8am- 4.30pm. This approximately a six month temporary project.
Pay rate depending on salary history, skills and experience.
Requirements
- Mechanical engineering or physics background is required.
- Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings is required.
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills and ability to become familiar with several manufacturing software systems quickly.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
