We are thrilled to share that the Disney College Program will return at Walt Disney World® Resort this June!
In fact, recruitment for 2021 opportunities have now resumed, and we know students will be ecstatic to hear this news.
Along with much of the world, we’re encouraged by progress made possible by rising vaccination rates and recently revised guidance around health and safety measures. And while we’re seeing some additional positive signs, we still have a ways to go to a full recovery. This summer we are opening more Disney hotels, sports and convention groups are returning, theme park hours are extending and we are reintroducing some our Guest-favorite offerings.
Right now, we have many roles to fill and are now ready to take the next step to welcome back students. We are inviting participants whose program ended early or was suspended in 2020, to reapply and join us.
We want you to know that we’re relaunching the Program in a thoughtful and responsible way, with the safety of our participants and our working Cast always at the forefront of our planning, particularly as we consider a new approach to housing.
Our stunning, new housing complex – Flamingo Crossings Village – will officially become the home to our 2021 participants. Flamingo Crossings is an incredible, state-of-the-art complex. For more on our new housing community, click here, and view a quick video sneak peek here.
Like many colleges and universities, we’re also modifying the occupancy of our units, giving fully vaccinated participants the opportunity to live with other fully vaccinated participants in the same apartment.
· Recruitment is resuming specifically for the Disney College Program at the Walt Disney World© Resort. At this time, Disney International Programs, Culinary Program and Disneyland© Resort College Program will also remain paused until further notice.
· We have expanded our recent graduate policy. Until otherwise noted, students who have graduated within the last 24 months are eligible to apply.
