Solutions is an industry leading manufacturer of high voltage circuit breakers
with R&D, manufacturing and service facilities located in Charleroi,
PA.
The
Charleroi factory is the Center of Excellence for research and development,
testing and manufacturing of dead tank circuit breakers for worldwide
distribution.
The R&D
Engineering Intern will:

Work and assist the R&D Test Lab
Engineer(s) with new product (DT1-362R, DT1-245P63) assembly, various test
processes (dielectric, temperature rise, mechanical endurance, environmental) and
documentation.
·
Review
drawings/assemblies and write test reports
·
Assist with the creation of operating
procedures (OPs) for the new and existing products.
·
Assist with revision to existing
documents for ISO-17025 (2017 revision)
·
This is a “hands-on” lab position.
The candidate will work along side the test engineers on a day to day, test by
test basis, and the various test processes will be covered in detail.
In order
to be considered for the opportunity you must possess the following:
· Bachelor’s
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology (at least
3rd year student)
· Must have
practical hands on experience and a thorough knowledge of mechanical hand tools.
· Must be
proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point, Outlook
