ASSISTANT PRODUCTION MANAGER - ELECTRICAL COILS

Our Production Manager will be retiring in a couple years after 40 years at our 120+ year old electrical coil manufacturing facility.  We are seeking an apprentice with an electro-mechanical background to work into the position which will result in the mastery of converting copper magnet wire and electrical insulating materials into finished electrical motor, generator and control coils, both AC and DC.  The operations to be learned include cutting, bending, winding, shaping, pullout, pressing, scraping, tinning, taping, insulating, assembling, painting, dipping, measuring, testing and inspecting.  Ultimately the successful candidate will be expected to teach and supervise the same in the efficient production of a quality, on-time product.

     The company is a small family-owned manufacturer with shipments throughout North America and to 25 other countries around the world.
