We currently have an exciting opportunity for a tooling Technician in our Madison, PA facility.

Responsibilities (full list available at the job posting link below)
• To provide field services at nuclear power plant sites either operating or under construction, and service center operations, utilizing high technology service equipment and in a manner reflecting Westinghouse’s commitment to the highest level of safety and quality.
• Perform service center support functions including but not limited to service equipment maintenance and check out, equipment and facility decontamination, equipment packing and unpacking, shipment preparations, material handling and calibration activities. Review operational and maintenance procedures and drawings in detail.
• Thorough understanding of blueprints, layouts, sketches & work orders to assess equipment specifications and to determine tooling instructions, tools and materials needed and sequences of operations.
• Provide support to product engineering and training by performing activities such as equipment modifications, equipment set up and testing, mock-up preparation, process testing and equipment and process qualifications. Accurately document equipment performance issues during field implementation, and ensure corrective actions are complete prior to next scheduled use.
• Set up, operate, maintain and troubleshoot field service equipment at customer sites, including but not limited to, cleaning processes, non-destructive examination (NDE) technology, robotic systems and computer networks.
• This position requires extensive travel, maintenance of “Unescorted Access” status, and working with hazardous materials.

Technical Internship – Chemistry, Polymer Science, Plastics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related STEM degrees!

Throughout your internship you’ll work closely with some of the industry’s best and brightest managers and scientists in one of the major businesses or service units of Covestro – Polyurethanes (PUR), Polycarbonates (PCS), Coating, Adhesive and Specialty Raw Materials (CAS), Product Safety and Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) or Regional Technical Services (RTS).

You’ll contribute to ongoing projects that will help improve people’s quality of life, getting an intimate look at how Covestro identifies customer needs and keeps the flow of new and established products moving through the marketplace. The internship program will begin in late May of 2019, and lasts approximately 12 weeks.

The UPMC Clinical Neurophysiology Summer Associates Program is an 11-week, paid internship. The UPMC Center for Clinical Neurophysiology provides diagnostic testing and continuous real time intraoperative (during surgery) monitoring of the nervous system. 

Located at UPMC Presbyterian, our Summer Associates (SAs) will work with our Surgical Neurophysiologists in the operating room providing Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM), which also involves assisting with setting up for surgical procedures, collecting data and making annotations.
