As part of our programming to better educate our students on the “responsible consumption of alcohol”, attendees who are 21 years of age or older and possess a valid passport or driver’s license may be served alcoholic beverages.

The goal of this event is to provide departing students with an educational experience to learn about proper alcohol etiquette at networking & professional events.

Regardless of whether you drink or not, this event is designed to teach you some tips for success in professional settings where alcohol is served.  It is an evening filled with strategies, history, behavior, and pertinent facts that will give you tools to get the most out of networking events.

Campus security will be present at the event.

We are a 4 Star Keystone Star school and licensed by the Department of Education as a Private Academic Nursery School. Applicants must have a degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development or a related human services field and at least 2 years of documented experience working with young children. They also must have an updated physical form. Updated Clearances are a plus, but not necessary. This is a full-time position and does include health, dental, vision, vacation/sick time, paid birthday, bonus, etc.   All candidates must have a desire to work with children and families, be committed to professional development and be a team player.

Salary: $10.50 /hour

Internship opportunity for IST


IST Students,
 
The Westmoreland County Housing Authority (WCHA) has been providing internship opportunities to PSNK IST students for several years. Many IST students have completed their internship requirement with the WCHA.

The intern will be maintaining computer labs consisting of networked personal computers and providing on-going computer training for the residents. You would be required to travel to the three sites : Lower Burrell, Greensburg, and Monessen. Periodically, you will assist the systems administrator of the housing authority in other IT related task. The internship will be supervised by Randy Boggs, systems administrator with Westmoreland County Housing Authority.

WCHA will provide compensation designed to cover your travel expenses for this internship. The Westmoreland County Housing Authority would like the intern to begin soon.

Associate Engineer - Operations Leadership Program

Job Description
• The program consists of three, 8 month rotations, typically in 2 or 3 different locations. 
• The program will conclude with a plant Supervisor rotation at an assigned Kennametal facility. 
• Post completion of program, placement will be into a role within an ISCL function. This will be based on incumbents’ strengths and interest, as well as business need at that time. 
• Additional leadership and function specific training included during program. 
• Some of the functional competencies covered during rotations include:
