We are looking to hire a Quality Control Inspector that will inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced. Excellent communication and leadership skills are very important, as well as keen attention to details.
Quality Machined Products & Manufacturing is searching for a Quality Control Inspector to add to their team in New Kensington, PA. The scheduled shift is 1st 6:45-3:05.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
· Approve in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating the required adjustments to the Quality Manager
· Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests
· Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work
· Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs
· Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
· Reading blueprints and specifications
· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
· 3 + years of inspecting experience
· Computer skills required: Microsoft Office; Job Boss(+)
· Experience with Optical Comparators, Contour Tracer, Indicators, Calipers, and Micrometers
