The
Lake Effect Leaders program is hiring over 30 AmeriCorps VISTA
positions in the “chimney” of Northwestern Pennsylvania.
AmeriCorps VISTA is a national service program that is committed to
fight poverty in the US. Members make a year-long, full-time commitment
to serve at a nonprofit organization, school or public agency. Members
receive a living allowance, health coverage,
housing stipend, and robust professional development. They train in a
cohort that leverages the power of members into a network of resources,
knowledge and organizations that are making a greater collective impact
on the community as a local team. Positions
are available in Meadville, Erie, Union City and Pittsburgh. The start
