Attention Penn State New Kensington Students,

I am writing on behalf of the Student Affairs Department and Student Government Association at Penn State New Kensington.  We are writing to inform you about the Annual Summer Leadership Conference fromAugust 1-4, 2016 at the Behrend Campus.  SLC is an annual event for all Penn State Campuses and is full of leadership and networking opportunities, educational sessions, general sessions, food, keynote speakers, fun, social programming, and so much more!  Only 12 students from PSNK can attend and every year we open this opportunity up to the entire student population.  You must be enrolled in classes full time for the Fall 2016 semester and have a desire to hone your leadership skills to be qualified to attend.  There is no cost to you, but all recommended students are required to fill out an application to attend.  Once we receive all applications from interested students, we will hold interviews if necessary to narrow our list down to 12 students who will represent PSNK the best.  If you are interested in attending the conference, please complete and return the attached application via email or paper form to my attention in the Student Life Office no later than May 31st, 2016.  We hope you consider attending, this conference and I hope to see your completed application soon!
Thank you and let me know if you have any questions,
