Internship at Vocollect - IST

For:  Information Technology and Science majors
 
Vocollect Healthcare Systems is seeking a part time person to work in a temporary position.  The work schedule will be weekly Monday, Wednesday, Friday, occasionally on Sundays, at approximately 20 hours.  The person will be responsible for providing technical support via phone, email, web for VHS customers.  It will be a hands-on position in our Customer Support Center (CSC) interfacing directly with customers and internal technical and clinical team members.  The temporary person will also perform regular software upgrades using remote diagnostic tools and assist in receiving returned materials from customers.

Opportunities for students in environmental studies

The office of Career Development at Chatham University is co-sponsoring a speaker series for students interested in environmental issues. It is a monthly luncheon series entitled “Pathways to Sustainable Careers” which features the decision pathways of successful people in environmental fields ranging from non-profit management and advocacy to financial portfolio and academic research. Our goal is to offer students the opportunity to learn more about the wide range of careers available within the field of sustainability by hearing each month from a professional that is working in a different aspect of the field each month.   (The dates, location and times are listed below.)
 
Students from all local colleges and universities are invited to attend. We would simply ask that interested students email us to RSVP at careers@chatham.edu and let us know what university/college they are from, just so we have an idea of how many to expect.

JF&CS is responsible for the delivery of basic resettlement services to refugees who have fled persecution in their homelands and arrive into the U.S. under the United States government refugee program. JF&CS provides culturally and linguistically sensitive services to foster the early self-sufficiency of refugee clients. The Resettlement Case Manager, under supervision of the Program Director, oversees the activities that take place before arrival through the first month post-arrival.
Qualifications

In addition to the nine students profiled in the print edition, we thought you'd also enjoy hearing about a 10th: Audrey Snyder, who spent the summer in Milwaukee covering the Brewers for MLB.com. A senior in the College of Communications and a sports fanatic, Snyder was one of only 30 students nationwide to score the MLB gig, and the only intern covering the Brewers, making for a packed schedule and tight deadlines. Snyder squeezed in a few minutes (on a game day, no less) to talk to me about her job:
