Internship overview for current students:

The Internship Program is designed to provide students who are enrolled in a wide variety of educational institutions, from high school to graduate level, with opportunities to work in Federal agencies while still in school and get paid competitive wages for the work performed.  Students who successfully complete the internship program may be eligible for conversion to permanent Federal positions after graduation. 

Recent Graduates overview:

The Recent Graduates Program affords developmental experiences and competitive wages in civil service positions with the Federal Government, to individuals who have recently graduated from qualifying educational institutions or programs. Successful applicants are placed in a dynamic, developmental program leading to a permanent civil service career in the Federal Government.

Conference Registration Policy:
The C2C: College to Career Conference is hosted as a joint effort among five area colleges and universities, but is open to students from 46 college and universities that are membes of the Western PA Association of Colleges and Employers (WestPACS).  By registering to attend this event, you acknowledge your commitment to represent yourself and your institution in a professional manner.  Specifically, you agree to:
1.    Dress professionally (i.e., a business suit/dress pants and dress shirt and tie/blouse)
2.    Arrive on time
3.    Participate in the entire, day-long conference (9:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
4.    Complete the survey at the conclusion of the conference

As part of our programming to better educate our students on the “responsible consumption of alcohol”, attendees who are 21 years of age or older and possess a valid passport or driver’s license may be served alcoholic beverages.

The goal of this event is to provide departing students with an educational experience to learn about proper alcohol etiquette at networking & professional events.

Regardless of whether you drink or not, this event is designed to teach you some tips for success in professional settings where alcohol is served.  It is an evening filled with strategies, history, behavior, and pertinent facts that will give you tools to get the most out of networking events.

Campus security will be present at the event.

In Cheswick is seeking dedicated, energetic individuals to work with the toddler children in our early education program. We are a 4 Star Keystone Star school and licensed by the Department of Education as a Private Academic Nursery School. Applicants must have a degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development or a related human services field and at least 2 years of documented experience working with young children. They also must have an updated physical form. Updated Clearances are a plus, but not necessary. This is a full-time position and does include health, dental, vision, vacation/sick time, paid birthday, bonus, etc.   All candidates must have a desire to work with children and families, be committed to professional development and be a team player.

Salary: $10.50 /hour
