Due to our growth and continued support of our customers, Autosoft currently has an opening for an Application Support Professional to join our development team in West Middlesex, PA or Dayton, OH. POSITION DESCRIPTION The Application Support Professional will work cross-functionally with other groups both inside and outside the department and company. This individual will be responsible for a wide variety of activities, including diagnosing and fixing customer issues, monitoring the status of various systems, and data migrations between systems. This position acts as a gateway between our customer support center and our application development teams.

Responsibilities: 
  • Support Enterprise wide applications running on a Microsoft platform
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, obtain results, perform root cause analysis, and provide solutions for a broad range of technical problems
  • Implement patches and corrective actions needed to mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities
  • Construct detailed documentation of issues and their resolutions
  • Partner with the Customer Support Center and Development team to resolve complex customer issues
  • Monitor various systems to detect and resolve issues
  • Execute database (MS Sql Server) and application migrations
  • Respond to and resolve tickets in a timely manner
  • Occasional travel to customer sites may be required

Job Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience
  • Familiarity with JIRA or other defect tracking systems.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting distributed software in a Windows environment.
  • Familiar with IIS support and troubleshooting.
  • Experience using InstallShield, Setup Factory, and PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of IIS Applications, Windows Services, and WinForm applications.
  • Knowledge of C# and XML.
  • Good knowledge of relational databases, including construction and execution of SQL queries.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server Environments, expert level Windows troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong interpersonal skills with supervisor and other departments
  • Superior organization, prioritization, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Manage challenging timelines and schedules
  • Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines, collaboratively, with other departments.
