Opportunit​y for VETERANS!

This event is being held in Pittsburgh on March 2 & 3 and is co-hosted by Penn State Mont Alto, the University of Pittsburgh, and Seton Hill University. The registration fee is waived for the first 60 registrants!

The Conference Planning Committee is pleased to announce some new and exciting incentives for this year’s conference being held at the University of Pittsburgh March 2-3, 2013.
Breakfast, Lunch, and Refreshments will be provided on both days, as well as a Networking Hour that gives attendees the opportunity to build and make new connections and join fellow veterans and supporters in the fun and relaxed environment of Pittsburgh.
The conference will include over 20 exhibitors to include: The Pennsylvania Department of Education, Wounded Warrior Project, the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, and many more!
The program will feature over 30 presenters from nationally recognized organizations to include: Student Veterans of America, Operation Vets, as well as distinguished speakers from colleges and universities that have built successful veteran programs!
At the end of the conference, attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the historical Soldiers and Sailors Museum that features items from the all of our countries conflicts, including the current wars of Iraq and Afghanistan!
Please join us for a weekend of learning, networking and gathering additional resources from the veterans community.

NOTE TO PENN STATE NEW KENSINGTON STUDENT VETERANS: If you are interested in attending the conference, please contact Jim Shields in Career Services at jshields@psu.edu or 724-334-6065. If there is enough interest, the campus will look into providing transportation to the event. Contact Jim by February 15 if you plan to attend.
