Machinist Trainee
Function:    To setup and operate manual or CNC machines
Department:    Mechanical Production
Overview:  Employees needed with strong math skills and mechanical aptitude to enter a company-sponsored machinist-training program.

Vocation school with exposure to manual or CNC machining a plus.

Machinist (CNC)
Function:    To machine parts to tight tolerances using CNC machines.
Department:    Mechanical Production
Overview:

Experienced machinists needed for CNC Mills and Lathes.

Should have 2 years of programming and operating experience and be able to read blueprints and other machine shop documents.

Mazak experience a plus.

Machinist - CNC Grinder
Function:    To grind parts to tight tolerances using CNC machines.
Department:    Mechanical Production
Overview:        Experienced machinists needed for CNC Surface and Cylindrical grinders.

Should have 2 years of experience with programming and grinding parts to tight tolerances.

Must have experience in inspection equipment and techniques.

Must be able to read blueprints and other machine shop documents.

Mechanical Assembly - Entry Level
Function:    To assemble products per drawings.
Department:    Mechanical Production
Overview:  Training provided - no experience necessary. Entry level positions in the mechanical or motor assembly department.

Performs assembly of light material and parts or basic assembly of magnet tracks, motor armatures, linear and rotary motors requiring some precision.

Production assembly experience or vocational or technical school training is helpful but not required.

Mechanical Assembly - Experienced
Function:    Assemble and test mechanical products per drawings and other documentation.
Department:    Mechanical Production
Overview:  Positions available in the mechanical assembly department to perform assembly of parts and systems where a high level of precision is needed.

Will be required to use a variety of high tech testing equipment and need a reliance on your troubleshooting skills.

Several years of production assembly experience or vocational or technical school training is required.

Mechanical Inspection Technician

Function:    Testing and Inspection
Department:    Mechanical Manufacturing
Overview:

Responsible for hands-on testing and quality inspections of high precision electro-mechanical equipment.

Job requires mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and a working knowledge of electro-mechanical systems.

Basic computer skills required.

Experience with QC and/or CMM equipment a plus.

Function:    To wire or assemble products per drawings.
Department:    Electrical Production
Overview:     Responsibilities include reading drawings, wiring, modifying, assembling, and rework/repair of electronic products.

Experience with hand tools, crimpers, and hand soldering a plus but not required.

Production wiring/assembly experience or vocational or technical school training is helpful but not required.

SMT Process Technician
Function:    Programming and maintenance of various SMT equipment
Department:    Electrical Production
Overview:     1-5 years experience in operation, programming and maintenance of various SMT equipment required (placement machines, screen printers, reflow ovens, and automated inspection equipment).

Candidate should be familiar with PCB Assembly and SMT Assembly processes. ASEET degree or equivalent required.

Electronic Technician
Function:    Component or systems level testing and troubleshooting.
Department:    Electrical Production
Overview:  Applicants should have a degree in electronic technology and 0-5 years of experience at PCB level testing, troubleshooting to component level and/or systems level testing and analysis.

Function:        Embedded hardware & firmware development
Department:    Engineering
Overview:  Aerotech is seeking Electrical/Computer Engineers for embedded hardware and firmware development.

Primary responsibilities include VHDL logic implementation for FPGAs and DSP firmware development using C language.

Familiarity with analog circuits, power supply design and PWM amplifier design considered a plus.

This position requires a BS or MS degree in EE/CE and 0-5 years of experience.

Software/Computer GUI Engineer
Function:        Write software in a .NET environment for our advanced motion control product line.
Department:    Engineering
Overview:   Aerotech is seeking Software/Computer Engineers for Graphical User Interface development for our state of the art motion control products.

All UI applications are .NET based and developed by small teams in a hands-on environment.

Aerotech provides the ideal environment for highly motivated and creative developers to contribute directly to product success.

This position requires a BS or MS degree in EE/CE or CS and 0-5 years experience.

Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills and be well-versed in formal methods of program design, implementation, testing and documentation.

Experience with UI design, Nant, Perl, XML, Visual Studio, or web development is a plus.

Mechanical Development Engineer
Function:         Development of high performance, extremely accurate mechanical positioning equipment.
Department:    Mechanical Engineering
Overview    :  Candidates should have an interest in developing high performance, extremely accurate mechanical positioning components and electromechanical systems for a diverse state-of-the-art product line.

Requirements include a BSME, MSME or a Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering and 0-5 years experience.

Candidates must possess strong development, practical and analytical skills also reflected in high academic achievement and should be proficient in the use of CAD software.

Relevant work experience, co-op or internship participation a plus. Excellent communications skills are required for this position.

Sales Application Engineer
Function:        Interface with a technology driven customer base, global sales force and in-house engineering staff.
Department:    Sales & Marketing
Overview:  We are currently seeking a highly motivated Application Engineer to interface with a sophisticated customer base, skilled in-house engineering staff and global sales force.

The applications engineer will provide motion control solutions to leading companies in the semiconductor, medical device manufacturing, laser processing and many other high tech industries.

The ideal candidate should possess a BS or MS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with strong interpersonal skills and 2-10 years of application or engineering experience.

Field Sales Application Engineer
Function:        Sales and technical assistance for the motion control industry dealing with positioning systems, drive components & machine automation.
Department:    Field Sales
Location:        Mid-Atlantic Territory (US), California and Arizona
Overview:  We are seeking to expand the sales team for our US operations.

The successful candidate must have a proven track record of driving sales growth in the motion control, mechatronic or automation related industries.

In addition the candidate must have a good understanding of stage mechanics, motor technology and motion software capabilities.

The Candidate should have an EE or ME engineering degree.

Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the US and will be expected to travel.

The successful candidate will be required to:

Expand current product sales to existing customers and introduce them to new products.

Develop new accounts by following sales leads provided by the company as well as leads developed by his or her own marketing activity in the territory.

Meet established sales goals and quotas as defined in the forecasted sales plan.

Develop an annual territory sales forecast.

Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships through good service to the customer.

Participate in and co-ordinates demonstrations, field trials, and local market studies.

Develop and maintain effective and efficient area sales planning and time management.
