Process Technician Position

Bridge Semiconductor is a venture capital funded company based in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. Bridge is completing the development of a low-cost IRFPA (Infrared Focal Plane Array), for high-value commercial applications. The markets for this product are immense and include "Driver Vision Enhancement to automobiles", security and surveillance plus "See through Smoke Systems for Firefighters".
Bridge has a strong patent position covering its innovative core technology.  The product uses standard submicron semiconductor manufacturing designs and custom MEMS processing. Currently, the company is sampling its units to customers, and is committed to the development of the next generation products.
 We are looking to add key personnel on our processing teams in Pittsburgh, PA. 
 Position:  Process Technician  Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Responsibilities:
  1. Work on the fabrication of the sensor prototypes (wafers) in the clean room environment either in house or at universities
  2. Improve the throughput of the sensor wafers
  3. Support yield and performance of existing sensor designs
  4. Document processes and help transition to manufacturing foundries
  5. Collaboration with internal or external sensor development activities for the next generation product
Qualifications/Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years associate's degree or 4 years college degree in engineering, or science.
·         Must have good understanding of the physical and chemical basis of general semiconductor processing.
  • A minimum of 2 years of the process development experience in industry.
  • Experience or familiarity with the wafer process inside the clean room environment and the chips (bare dies) handling would be a prefer
·         Experience or familiarity with photolithography, thin film sputtering, RIE, wet processing, metrology, vacuum system operation and other general micro-fabrication processes would be a plus
·         Good communication skills and ability to document process logs
